FAQs

Photo Tips

1. Lighting is critical to a successful portrait. A strong light source on one side of the face creates a more dynamic look with light and shadow.

2. The photo should be crisp and clear (no blurry photos please). Seeing the details of your pet’s face is what will create an amazing painting.

3. If you don’t have a favorite photo of your pet, feel free to take a few outdoors in the evening or near a window.

4. Taking the photo up close and on their level will create a beautiful composition. If the photo is taken looking down at your pet, it will skew the perspective of their face and body.

5. Strong details in the eyes can bring a painting to life!

Return and Exchanges

ORIGINAL ARTWORK: All sales of original artwork are final. Returns or exchanges of original work are not available except for the most extreme situations.

PRINT PRODUCTS: Returns and exchanges are handled on a case by case basis. We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (USPS or UPS).

Do you currently take commissions?

I am currently accepting a limited number of commissioned projects.

Visit my Commissions page for more information about the process and pricing, and to begin your project.

How will my artwork be shipped?

We ship with UPS and USPS regularly. Depending on the size of the artwork and location to be shipped, we will choose the best carrier for the job. Prints are normally shipped rolled inside a shipping tube. Original art work is carefully wrapped and boxed so it will arrive safely to its new home.

Do you sell and ship internationally?

I do not currently offer international shipping at this time.
